Why Mirfield Locals Use Us
Our yard is on Back Station Road in Mirfield and has been for more than 20 years, first as Boulds Bins and now as Tiger Skip Hire. This is the home patch, with Ravensthorpe, Roberttown and Dewsbury all within a few miles and Kirklees the council for each.
Being based here doesn’t change the price: Mirfield pays the same £150 to £320 as everywhere else we cover, with delivery, collection and 14 days’ hire in it. Our skips go on private land only, so there’s no permit to sort. Weekday deliveries, 24 hours’ notice, same as everywhere else.

Frequently Asked Questions
Book at least 24 hours ahead and pick a weekday. We deliver to Mirfield Monday to Friday. Book a day or two out and you’ll get the delivery day you want.
Not with Tiger. Kirklees requires a permit when a skip sits on a public road or pavement, and we place skips on private land only: your driveway, garden or yard. In Mirfield you won’t need a permit, pay a council fee or wait on paperwork.
Up to 14 days, included in the price. Most local firms give you 7, so with Tiger you get double the time to work at your own pace without paying more. If you need longer, ring us and we’ll arrange it.
Most household, garden and DIY waste: furniture, wood, metal, plastics, packaging, garden waste, soil and rubble, bricks, tiles, carpets, kitchen units and general clearout junk. Mixed loads are fine. A few items need booking in or keeping separate, including fridges, tyres, plasterboard and mattresses, and a short list can’t go in at all. If you’re not sure about something, ring us before you load it.
No. The price you see covers delivery, collection and up to 14 days’ hire. A handful of special items carry a charge, agreed up front when you book: tyres £10 each, mattresses £20 each, fridges or freezers £100 each. Plasterboard costs nothing extra with us, and your skip sits on your own property, so there’s no permit fee either. Don’t overload the skip however, as that could incur additional cost.
