Why Gomersal Locals Use Us
Gomersal shares BD19 with Cleckheaton and sits in Kirklees near Birstall and Birkenshaw, about five miles from our yard. We’ve been a family operation in Mirfield for over 20 years, first as Boulds Bins. Our skips go on private land only, on a driveway, garden or yard, so there’s no Kirklees permit and no council fee for Gomersal customers.
Four sizes cover most jobs: 2, 3, 4 and 8 yards, roughly 20 to 80 bin bags, from £150 to £320 with delivery and collection in the price. Plasterboard costs nothing extra, and 90% of what we collect gets recycled.

Frequently Asked Questions
Book at least 24 hours ahead and pick a weekday. We deliver to Gomersal Monday to Friday. Book a day or two out and you’ll get the delivery day you want.
Not with Tiger. Kirklees requires a permit when a skip sits on a public road or pavement, and we place skips on private land only: your driveway, garden or yard. In Gomersal you won’t need a permit, pay a council fee or wait on paperwork.
Up to 14 days, included in the price. Most local firms give you 7, so with Tiger you get double the time to work at your own pace without paying more. If you need longer, ring us and we’ll arrange it.
Most household, garden and DIY waste: furniture, wood, metal, plastics, packaging, garden waste, soil and rubble, bricks, tiles, carpets, kitchen units and general clearout junk. Mixed loads are fine. A few items need booking in or keeping separate, including fridges, tyres, plasterboard and mattresses, and a short list can’t go in at all. If you’re not sure about something, ring us before you load it.
No. The price you see covers delivery, collection and up to 14 days’ hire. A handful of special items carry a charge, agreed up front when you book: tyres £10 each, mattresses £20 each, fridges or freezers £100 each. Plasterboard costs nothing extra with us, and your skip sits on your own property, so there’s no permit fee either. Don’t overload the skip however, as that could incur additional cost.
